Janeth Steinberg is the current owner of Headmasters Salon located in Kenginston, CT. Headmasters Salon is the culmination of 30+ years of hair dressing and cosmetology studies that Janeth embarked on decades ago as she strived to raise two successful children and fulfill her American dream as an entrepreneur and proud mother of college graduates.

Janeth was born in Colombia and moved to the U.S at the age of 25 with her children, Oscar and Jessica. From the moment she arrived, she had the unwavering goal of establishing new roots and creating better opportunities for her children and future generations. Her mission: make a decent living while creating the pathways for her children to pursue collegiate opportunities and beyond.

Janeth initially worked three jobs while pursuing a cosmetology certification, and while the road to success was challenging, the outcomes were the most rewarding experience thanks to an outstanding support system comprised of family and close friends.

Today, Janeth is the proud mother of two college graduates – both with post-graduate degrees in business management and education – and a very happy ‘grandma’ of three boys. On her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their growing family.

Knowing the importance of hard work, steadfast focus, and the value of doing what’s right – Janeth continues to focus on growing Headmasters and exploring ways to create pathways for cosmetology specialists and individuals interested in growing their brand and future business.
